Role Information:Â

As an Influencer Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate directly with the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and VP of Growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead influencer marketing campaigns from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and goals.
- Strengthen current influencer strategy, establishing and nurturing long-term partnerships through organic and sponsored content and networking.
- Manage and report on gifting programs.
- Retain the current influencer base, as well as identify, actively source & reach out to new influencers in line with the brand voice and overall business strategy for ongoing & upcoming campaigns + maintain relationships.
- Develop an ambassador program to drive affiliate marketing and a stronger pipeline of UGC content.
- Own the influencer strategy from start to finish which includes; research and source influencers, build creative hooks and concepts, create briefs that clearly outline deliverables, negotiate, report and analyze campaign efforts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the marketing team, product development, and creative teams to ensure alignment and integration of influencer initiatives with overall marketing efforts.
- Working closely with Social Media Manager to collaborate with external content creators to facilitate content for social media organic usage.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging platforms relevant to influencer marketing.
- Manage the influencer budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Actively keep a pulse on emerging influencers and trends through various social media channels such as Instagram and TikTok.
Role RequirementsÂ
- Youâre passionate about skincare!Â
- A minimum of three years with relevant influencer marketing experience.
- Proven track record of successful influencer campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Strong roster of existing relationships with influencers and key opinion leaders.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing trends, and best practices.
- Impeccable organizational skills with a resilient, positive mental attitude.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- A strong ability to work cross functionally with key stakeholders to understand how brand partnerships support the wider business context and objectives, and translate them into actionable tasks and takeaways.
- Highly KPIs driven and data obsessed.
- Strong sense of urgency: deadlines are met, communicate issues proactively, and action items with appropriate speed.
- Located in Ottawa or Toronto, Ontario.
Bonus SkillsÂ
- Youâve used a CRM.
- Youâve worked in the skincare industry.
- Experience hosting influencer events including management and tactical execution to foster relationship building and brand loyalty.

We do have staff who work remotely, but our HQ is in downtown Ottawa.
We're still a small, tight knit team. Most of our team is located in Ottawa, Canada, but we now have employees spanning across the world remotely.
To date, Bushbalm is in over 5,000 waxing salons, and on shelves nation wide at Ulta Beauty.
We're growing our team and departments at a fast pace. Our most mature departments are Marketing and Product Development.

Our team is primarily headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.
We're open to remote candidates, but would like to hire first in Ottawa, so we can gather easily. In regards to your workday, we are a flex model and allow employees to work remote when they wish.
