As a Content & Social Media Coordinator you will work directly with the Marketing & Growth teams here at Bushbalm. In this role you’ll primarily be focused on content sourcing, social media and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content on a regular basis for social platforms.
- Engage with our audience on social media platforms.
- Assist with social media planning, scheduling, and posting
- Execute reporting for social media, and influencer initiatives
- Manage and update media and influencer databases.
- Conduct research on creators and content trends
- Assist with influencer outreach and gifting.
About This Role:
This is a full-time role. If you are an intelligent, ambitious, and creative natural communicator who is looking to obtain quality experience in a fast-paced environment, we have the perfect growth opportunity for you! In this position you’ll be a key contributor to our marketing team working closely with content strategists to manage both of our instagram and tiktok accounts. You’ll also learn how to launch a product in a competitive market, how to strategically pitch the right audience, perfect product copy, work with influencers, develop hooks with Facebook ads, and assemble media kits.
Role Requirements
- You must be passionate about both the skincare and social media industries.
- At least 1 full year of corporate experience working in social media
- Actively creating content for a social media account
- Have video editing skills & be comfortable being featured in videos
- A multi-tasker who thrives in a fast paced environment.
- A keen interest in pop culture trends and influencer marketing
- Great communication skills. This is critical to the role and connecting with our audience, influencers, and relevant media.
- You must be organized and have a can-do attitude.

We do have staff who work remotely, but our HQ is in downtown Ottawa.
We're still a small, tight knit team. Most of our team is located in Ottawa, Canada, but we now have employees spanning across the world remotely.
To date, Bushbalm is in over 2,300 waxing salons, on the shelves of Ulta, Indigo, Urban Outfitters and more.
We're growing our team and departments at a fast pace. Our most mature departments are Marketing and Product Development.
Other departments that are well established include Operations, Customer Service, Design and Finance.
Our team is primarily headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.
We're open to remote candidates, but would like to hire first in Ottawa, so we can gather easily. In regards to your workday, we are a flex model and allow employees to work remote when they wish.
