About the Role
This is a full-time position. If you’re a smart, ambitious, and self-driven individual seeking to thrive in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you! As a Brand Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate directly with the Senior Director of Brand Marketing.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute 360-degree marketing campaigns, ensuring all brand touch points—social media, email, SMS, website, retail, influencer collaborations, and PR—work cohesively to amplify new product launches.

Oversee Bushbalm’s DTC social media strategy, ensuring engaging, on-brand, and high-performing content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other emerging platforms.

Collaborate with the email & SMS marketing team to align messaging and promotions across all channels for cohesive brand storytelling.

Work closely with the design team to develop creative assets that align with brand campaigns and marketing initiatives.

Own the brand marketing calendar, ensuring all key launches, promotions, and content initiatives are executed on time and in alignment with business goals.

Lead brand campaigns and key projects, from ideation to execution, ensuring they drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.

Collaborate on photoshoots, working with photographers, models, and creative teams to ensure high-quality visual content that aligns with the brand’s aesthetic.

Own go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring seamless execution across all marketing channels.

Monitor and analyze marketing performance and KPI metrics to optimize content, campaigns, and engagement strategies.

Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and best practices to ensure Bushbalm remains a leader in skincare marketing.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including product development, retail, and customer experience, to align on messaging and initiatives.

Organize and manage creative assets for the brand and company
Who You Are:

A brand storyteller with 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, social media, or digital marketing, preferably in the beauty, skincare, or wellness space.

Experienced leading a team.

Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.

Creative and strategic—able to think big-picture while also executing day-to-day tasks with precision in a fast-paced environment.

Deeply familiar with social media content trends, platform best practices, and influencer collaborations.

Experienced in collaborating with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to bring campaigns to life.

Analytical and data-driven, with a keen eye for performance metrics and an ability to adjust strategies accordingly.

Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand messaging.

Passionate about skincare, self-care, and creating a brand that resonates with consumers.
Bonus:

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and digital marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Archive, and a CRM.

We do have staff who work remotely, but our HQ is in downtown Ottawa.
We're still a small, tight knit team. Most of our team is located in Ottawa, Canada, but we now have employees spanning across the world remotely.
To date, Bushbalm is in over 5,000 waxing salons, and on shelves nation wide at Ulta Beauty.
We're growing our team and departments at a fast pace. Our most mature departments are Marketing and Product Development.
Other departments that are well established include Operations, Customer Service, Design and Finance.
Our team is primarily headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.
We're open to remote candidates, but would like to hire first in Ottawa, so we can gather easily. In regards to your workday, we are a flex model and allow employees to work remote when they wish.
